One of my instructors suggested that we start creating smaller models for our portfolios because it is extremely rare for any game studio to hire a fresh college grad for large-scale character or environment work. Usually, we were given small assets to start with and work our way up from their. I decided to create various small assets as quickly as I could on a daily basis.

Technical Info

Low-poly by current game standards, this model clocks in around 2000 tri. It animates smoothly with a basic skeleton and is meant to be a non-focal asset. It was created using 3D Studio MAX and PhotoShop in just over 2 hours. There are two textures (one for opacity on the hair, one for color) that measure 256 each.
