Setting aside for a moment how offensively, unscientifically, and idiotically this title is, this bill amounts to allotting federal resources specifically toward preventing American children from accessing life saving healthcare. This is where we’re at.

In order to pass the rule, they’re obligated to read all public comments on the record first. So we can effectively filibuster it by writing thousands of public comments and going on for as long as possible.

My Public Comment
What an absolute waste of my tax dollars and all of your time to spend our efforts attempting to make the lives of chikdren harder, harsher, and less likely to continue. It’s a disgrace that I even have to write this text-based slap of sense and basic humanity across your politically conniving faces. There is no merit at all in depriving children of life saving healthcare. None.
You can warp the phrasing of opposing suicide prevention and bodily autonomy into any disgusting phrase you want, but it doesn’t disguise what you’re actually doing. Harming children. Children who struggle enough in this world without their government actively bullying them to gather popularity from a hateful block of voters who will never realize how they’re directly affected by these restrictions. Pouring concrete in the pools just so marginalized people can’t use them. Cutting off our noses to spite our own faces so long as a queer child feels it worst.
Shame on any of you considering this or other measures like it. And pity upon any vulnerable child in your own life who will never tell you how badly you’ve hurt them, because they can’t feel safe doing so. You’ll no doubt be bewildered at their eventual estrangement from you and blame it on anything but your own bigotry.
