After years following the 24 hour news cycle in a constant effort to stay as informed as possible, 2020 finally burned me out.
Every workplace has them at some point. Among my circle of friends that work in the Bay Area at various tech companies, I’ve heard each one complain about “that one guy” at their office who never does anything but never gets fired.
I burned myself out in 2013. I was not fun to be around at times. I had anxiety attacks at least once per week. This year will be different.
