This is my first time running for public office. I’ve been a dishwasher, a server, a stocker, a game designer, a coder, and a laid-off team leader for an international clothing brand. Today, I’m a technology specialist for a local law firm who sues big tech companies, banks, and other corporate monsters on behalf of regular citizens like us. My career has been about flexibly being there for what my team needs and getting obstacles out of their way when they’re already on the right track.
Politically, I’m anti-authoritarian. My parents were both public school teachers, so I was holding signs on union picket lines when I was a toddler. I’m a pragmatic abolitionist who believes in decriminalizing the lives of regular folks and keeping the government out of our private business.
Today, U.S. politics are a nightmare I’ve been warning about for most of my life. I can no longer fight solely as a keyboard warrior and a single face in the crowds of protests our national press often ignores. My skills and experience can be more productive in official public service, if you’ll have me.
You’ll also find me walking around our city with my little family — my wife and dogs. Grabbing brunch at Doyle Street Cafe, coffee at Black Diamond Cafe, dinner at Public Market, drinks at Honor Bar Kitchen & Cocktails, and movies at Bay Street. If you’re kind and respectful of personal space and time, you’re welcome to say hi and ask me questions! I’m somewhat introverted, but I’ll do my best!
I’ve had this website since I was a teenager.
There’s some embarrassing sh*t here. Feel free to dig in — I burned my closet on the way out and the skeletons in there are sun-bleached.

Identity
My pronouns are they/she. My gender is non-binary and transfemme. I prefer gender-neutral descriptors when possible and feminine ones when not. Thank you for your effort and respect.
Political Party
If running for office was an honest business, I’d run as an Independent or some third party more aligned with my values. Because our system is oriented to only truly empowering two parties, I’m in the one farther from right-wing fascism, white supremacy, and supporting carceral systems: Democrat.
I aim to follow in the footsteps of Democratic politicians aiming to push the party to contrast itself more from Republicans: AOC, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Barbara Lee, Ilhan Omar, Sarah McBride, Zooey Zephyr, and the like.
Bigger Than One City
For those who wish to know my stances on issues beyond the scope of city council:
- 🍉 Free Palestine.
- ❤️🖤💚 Black lives matter.
- 🏳️⚧️ Trans rights are human rights.
- ☀️ No human is illegal.
- ⛓️💥 Abolish prisons.
- 🫄 Pro-choice.
- 🌹 Single payer universal healthcare and child care.
- 🔐 Privacy rights.
All these issues are far more complex than a quick blurb can adequately cover, so feel free to ask me about them. (Hint: chances are I’ve written about them over the years.)
