About Corry Frydlewicz

You can learn more about me from reading my articles than a bite-sized bio, but if that’s helpful:

Corry Frydlewicz is a writer, coder, designer, and activist living in the SF Bay Area who’s passionate about technology, equity, accessibility, and making a cruel world less-so as best as we can. She spends her time writing, gaming, traveling, curating art and entertainment for friends, and chasing new adventures with her feisty chihuahua Ms. Rogue E. Pierogi.

About Corry Frydlewicz’s Website

Content Only

No ads or sales pitches. If I talk about products or services here, it’s out of genuine enthusiasm. If I get anything out of my audience’s interest in them (like a referral code) I’ll mention that.

Design Philosophy (Priorities)

  1. Accessibility and Usability
    • Screen reader compatible
    • Responsive
    • Optimized for low data connections
  2. Ease of use as a writing platform (so I’ll actually do it)
  3. Aesthetics
  4. Find-able (SEO)
  5. Don’t beg for attention (no annoying CTAs or ads)
  6. Focused calls to action:
    • Read
    • Discuss
    • Share
    • Repeat
  7. Open source: Theme GitHub Repo Link

A.I.

A.I.-generated content is pollution. It clogs the arteries of the internet with thoughtless, soulless garbage that is riddled with inaccuracies and say-nothing fluff. It’s built entirely to feed site crawling bots and data scrapers. It’s a magnification of the inhumanity of the modern internet and doesn’t serve anyone but those companies’ shareholders (for now).

I will never use Artificial Intelligence to generate content. Every word here is artisanal, hand-crafted, un-optimized, and imprefect. I put my mind, heart, and time into creating it and appreciate you spending yours reading.
