Social Group Update
This is a casual update for friends in one of my activity groups. If you're interested in joining any of them, let me know!

Hi friends!

Just a quick update today. When we went to see Ballerina, we saw the Nobody 2 trailer, which is the next movie I have on my calendar.

I’m not doing anything big for my birthday (7/15) this year, but if you want to join me for any of the activities I have planned so far in July that’d be a nice way to wish me a happy one. 😇

    I’ll probably be going on a 🍄 journey down the river, if you’re an experienced kayaker and want to participate. (I won’t be able to handhold newbies for this one)
  • July 10: Open Mike Eagle Concert

  • July 15: Casual Birthday Drinks
    I have to work on my birthday this year 🙎 (I don’t have the PTO and salary I used to), but I’ll be at my favorite local bar that night if you want to join me.

🤔 Review: Ballerina

Ballerina was great if you wanted what I wanted: more exciting fun from the John Wick universe. While it’s not better than any of the 4 main movies, it totally suits the world they exist in. Ana de Armas moves her own way, fights in her unique style, and is driven by her own motives, and I welcome that departure from JW’s (he’s one-of-a-kind after all) even if it’ll take getting used to her explosive brutality. 

I’d say fans of the series should definitely check it out, but no need to start here if you haven’t enjoyed the other four yet.
