So I’m looking around the site and I realize I haven’t blogged since frickin’ April… I feel the need to make an update so here’s whats new.

Kati and I have been together for over 7 months now. Things are pretty good. During the Summer vacation, I took her back to Jersey with me and showed her the East Coast for the first time. She LOVED New York City, but suh… who doesn’t? ^^ We went to the Jersey Shore and hung out with my Mom and that was fun too. Otherwise I just showed her around all the sights in my wierd little state.

In August, Kati’s parents took me to Hawaii. I was psyched… I always wanted to go there of course. We went to the Big Island and stayed in a town called Kona. While we were there we went horseback riding, snorkelling, swimming in the cleanest most beautiful water I’ve ever seen. We ate at a place called Bubba Gump’s Shrimp (after Forrest Gump) and that place kicked ass. We ate some great seafood and sat on a terrace that overlooked the ocean. We went to a place called Wasabi’s that had some of the freshest Sushi I’ve ever tasted. We went to a Luau (sp?) and that was pretty cool too. I tried Poi… it wasn’t too bad… not great tho. They had fire dancers and all kinds of activities. They had a Swordfish that was big enough to swallow me whole and no one would ever know I was in there o.O It was a great trip and Kati’s parents were fun. They seemed to like me too.

We were going around apartment shopping in September and we wanted to find a place that allowed dogs so I could get a puppy. We go around and get a few offers, then I come back to San Valiente and ask them if they would match the offers. I found out that they changed the rules and now allow dogs in the apartments! So within days, I go to the Humane Society and look around. There were alot of dogs and many of them were pitbulls and rotweilers (apartment no-nos). I came to a cage for a dog named Shay and kneeled down next to it… she starts licking my face and smiling at me. The was listed as a Sharpe mix and looked like a Beagle with long legs and a hound’s nose. She was the cutest thing… so I asked to play with her. When they put her in the area where I could play with her she was very friendly and played with the ball I was throwing around. I was on my lunch break between a double-shift, lol, so we had to rush out and reserve her for the next morning. That night, I went to Wal-Mart and bought her all kinds of toys and food and a crate and everything. The next morning, as soon as the place opened, I went to adopt Shay and bring her home. She was so happy, you could see it in her face. We played with her all day and walked her around the apartment. She was a very good dog. She played fetch with me as soon as we got home. She loves toys that make noises.

Well anyway, her name is Soocoo now, because every time anyone meets her (including myself) they said she was “Sooo Cute”. She sits, stays, shakes, lays, and rolls over on command. She is fully potty trained and crate trained. She’s always very happy to see me when I get home, but she doesn’t jump up on people anymore. She loves Beggin Strips and Snausages. She goes nuts over Pig Ears and the stuffed animals we give her. She’s the most awesome dog ever. Oh yea… and she runs REALLY fast o.O We found out she’s a Walker Hound/Sharpe mix, which means she has a really keen sense of smell and she runs very fast. Which I knew already ^^

Since April, I have stopped working for Macaroni Grill because they made an example out of me. I called in sick because I had some stomach pains earlier in the day. Later that night I went to a friend’s birthday party where I was seen by someone from work. They used that as an excuse to fire me when they let others do whatever they wanted while I worked there. People would come in an hour late consistently and never get i trouble. People would leave without doing their sidework all the time and not get in trouble. It was a crappy workplace after awhile if you include all the drama with that stuff.

I worked at a Chinese Sushi place called the Bamboo Grille after that, where I bartended and served for a month or two. It was an interesting job, but I didn’t really make much money. Since then, I’ve been working at the Olive Garden in Metro Center. I make the same money as I did at Mac Grill, with far less effort. And the place is alot closer to my apartment. I’ve made several friends here that have been really nice. The managers are even nice. Life is simpler at the OG ^^

So as of right now everything seems alright. I’m excited to go back to Jersey for Xmas break, cuz I miss my brother and some of my friends there. I got a new tattoo started the other day and it looks awesome ^^ I designed it and my friend Jaysin over at Sacred Skin drew it up based on the ideas we worked out. I recommend anyone who wants to get something cool custom inked, go to him. He’s a great artist. I’m gonna go back and get this colored in in a few weeks so it has a chance to heal. Hopefully it’ll get done before I go home for vacation.

Well, I gotta go walk Soocoo now and I’m tired of typing, so I’m gonna stop now ^^ See you guys around and thanks for reading!
