Fictional Role Models
It’s difficult to name real people as role models, because they always eventually find ways to disappoint us. New information will continue to come forward about them, sometimes even after they’re dead, and sully the good things we took from them. That’s why I prefer mine to be fictional, and have clear beginnings and endings as often as possible.
