I realize that this is an incredibly self-centered thought to have, but…

Is it too much to ask that right-wingers postpone their terrorist attacks until after the most stressful and demanding weeks of my work life?

This is really the worst possible week for me to process the relentless genocide of queer people. The continued inaction of my government. The silence of my employer whose business and industry is born on the backs of queer people.
